BETC Accessibility Services

Welcome to Buffalo Employment Training Center.

BETC’s services are FREE and available to job seekers looking for work or to upgrade their skills, regardless of where they live. Services that are available include:

  • 10 informative workshops to help you look for work, update your resume, find the career you want and more
     
  • 5 self-paced Microsoft Tutorial programs for you to learn Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Publisher

  • 37 Computers with internet access to help you perform job searches, send electronic resumes, and search career sites

  • Job listings, a fax machine, copy machine, phone service, and mail service all at your fingertips to help you find an exciting new job

  • Need to learn how to use a computer? The Buffalo Employment and Training Center has 3 computer labs offering various classes that can help you increase your knowledge of the computer no matter what level you are at

  • Need individualized attention to address your job seeking needs? Meet with one of our qualified Career Counselors or Employment Counselors

  • Need to update your skills? Training opportunities are available to customers who qualify. Training is offered in skill areas that are in demand locally

  • Swipe cards provide customers with easy and fast access to all BETC services…no more signing in!

  • Many Partner Agencies are located on site to provide true one-stop career “shopping”
