The Buffalo & Erie Count Workforce Investment Board administers several state and federally funded programs designed to serve workers, residents and businesses in Erie County. The Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board is currenly soliciting proposals (RFP's) for In-School Youth Services. Information regarding proposal requirements can be accessed below.
 
IN-SCHOOL YOUTH PROPOSAL 
Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be received by the Workforce Investment Board no later than 3:00 p.m., EST, on March 2, 2018 in order to be considered
 
 OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH SERVICES UNDER THE WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT.
Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be received by the Workforce Investment Board no later than 3:00 p.m., EST, on March 7, 2018 in order to be considered.

Questions from the Out-of-School Youth Bidders Conference held on February 9, 2018

Question 1:   Is there a process for obtaining access to the One Stop Operating System?

Response:   Yes, there is a process for obtaining access to the One Stop Operating System established by the New York State Department of Labor.  This process involve agreeing to terms/signatures on  an Inter-Agency Confidentiality Agreement andIndividual Confidentiality Agreement for agencies and individuals before accessis granted. Details related to this process will be provided after award selection is granted.

Question 2:  If selected, is an initial budget advance possible to cover program start-up costs?

Response:  Yes, an initial budget advance, up to 10%, is possible, upon request, to cover  initial program start-up costs.
