SUNY Erie Career Center Makes All Job Search Services Virtual During the Pandemic.
Many Erie County residents do not realize that Erie County has several federally funded career centers that provide constituents with a lot of free individualized job search, resume writing, networking, and interview preparation assistance. Two of these career centers are located at SUNY Erie College. After the Executive Order to close, the SUNY Erie Career Centers pivoted quickly to convert all of their existing resume workshops and networking events to virtual formats through WebEx, which allows individuals video or phone appointments without having to download new or special software. Virtual workshops such as Boost Your LinkedIn Profile, Effective Strategies for Virtual Job Searching, Tips for Video-Based Interviews, Resumes and Cover Letters, or a 1-1 career coaching or resume appointment will help you feel confident and productive.
Please call 270-4444 or visit us at www.ecc.edu/onestop/ for more information about free job search services that can help you prepare for your career path, or email Denise Raymond, Dean of Employment and Training Services, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
